Please use these instructions for wiring your motherboard (additional information can be found in

the motherboard manual located on the Driver Resource CD).

If your system does not have front panel audio, verify that you have two jumpers (shunts) installed

in the JAUDIO1 connector as shown in the illustration to the right.

If your system has front panel audio, you will need to connect two

cables from the front of the case. You will find a total of five white

cables that are connected to the front panel.

Cable 1 - Line Out. Locate the white cable that terminates with three

colors - white, yellow and black and 5 connectors (the yellow and

white wires have two connectors). This cable will connect to the

JAUDIO1 header using the top 5 pins in the illustration to the right:

Cable 2 - MIC. Locate the white cable that terminates into three wires

with three connectors. The wire colors are white black and yellow.

Note that you will not connect the yellow wire marked Mic_Power.

Use the bottom of the illustration to the right to connect the Mic-

Ground wire (black) and the Mic_In wire (white) on JAUDIO1.

If your system has front panel audio jacks, the front

panel USB jacks need to be connected.

Cable 3 and 4 - USB 1 and 2:

Locate the two almost identical white cables that each terminate with

4 connectors with the four wire colors: red, white, green, and black.

Using the markings on the connectors, refer to the illustration to the

right to connect all eight connectors in their proper positions on the

motherboard connector named JUSB2. The numbers in the illustration

on the right will be circled on the individual connectors. The connec-

tion shown at the far right has no connection.
